What Campers Learn
Personal Growth & Independence
Day camp gives campers the chance to try new activities and enjoy time away from their caregivers. With our van transportation service, many campers take another step toward independence.Working with Others
Camp is a communal experience that helps campers grow in teamwork and awareness of others. While people with disabilities often receive individual support, camp creates opportunities to connect with those who might be different than them, building patience and love through shared activities.Spiritual Truths
We are all fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139) and need salvation through faith in Christ. Campers will learn of Jesus' sacrifice on the cross to redeem us and bring us into fellowship with God.Frequently Asked Questions
Day Camp runs for four days, starting at 8:30 AM with check-in at 8:15 AM, and ending at 4:30 PM. Check in and dismissal will be at Peterson Lake Lodge. Campers enjoy a morning snack, lunch, and the option to purchase an afternoon treat at the camp store. Each day begins with outdoor activities and chapel, followed by rotating electives. Weather permitting, campers can swim and enjoy lake time daily.
A great introduction to overnight camp
Day Camp can help create familiarity with the camp grounds, activities, and staff. This helps campers feel more comfortable about joining us in the future for overnight camp.
Food & Nutrition
We have a full-service dining hall and can accommodate certain food allergy diets like gluten and dairy. We provide lunch for our day campers and snacks are available for purchase at the snack store.
